The game of the third day is over, and the Pakistani team performed as its history i.e. unexpected cricket was played by them. They were very good in the early hours of the match. The in-form Asad Shafique who has been very outclassed in the series, played his cricket out and scored a total of 81 runs and got out by Lyon, followed by the star of Rawalpindi test Azhar Ali who scored 78 and got by Cummins and then the commander also played his responsible innings and tried to save the team again as in the last test but could not go much ahead and got lbw by Starc.

After Azhar Ali got out on 214/3, no batsman could be able to be on the pitch to share the burden on one side, yet Babar was standing on one end. In between 214 to 268, Pakistan lost        7 wickets including their favorites Rizwan and Fawad. The lower middle order and tail all went back to the pavilion without scoring double-figure runs, which includes four ducks as well.

As in 2nd test, the whole team collapsed, same happened in this innings too but in later hours, at least when a decent score was there on the scoreboard. The main role in banging the batting of Pakistan was played by hot favorite Cummins and Starc who got 5 and 4 wickets respectively. The duo of both has left Pakistan wounded at every slice. Both were unplayable in later hours of the day by a combination of reverse swings and slow deliveries. They broke the fort of 214/2 to 268/10 in a short span of time and took their team back in the decisive move of the match rather than a draw.   After a big wicket of Imam ul Haq yesterday, Cummins set the pace of Australian dominance by taking Azhar Ali too. Start thundered on Babar Azam, Rizwan and the famous test player of Pakistani team Fawad Alam.

On Pakistan Day, Australia showed no courtesy in terms of professional aspects and spoiled the host’s party is a terrific way.

Earlier this, at end of the 2nd day, Australia scored 391/10 and Pakistan were 90/1. Now Austalia left the scoreboard at 11/0 with David Warner at 4 and Usman Khawaja at 7 making a total lead of 134 runs.

Pak Aus 3rd test Day 3

Pitch and Weather Report

The pitch of Gaddafi Stadium Lahore is as traditional as the other two venues i.e. a batting-friendly pitch. Although taking wickets is not much easy on this pitch yet bowlers can get success by putting a sound effort into their performances. The weather will remain around 30 degrees Celcius and there are no chances of rain for now.

Cricket Game Prediction

As we have predicted yesterday, the match is turning at every session. But still, the prediction is too early to be made at end of the third day. Keeping in view the condition of the pitch, the confidence of the Australian team, time available for the innings, the chances of Australian win have increased and very rare chances of the draw still persist. But if the situation remains the same then the chances of the decisiveness of this last match has got the priority overdraw
