HBL PSL 8: Foreign players in the gold category are listed

The list of international players available for selection in the draught for the next eighth season of the Pakistan Super League in the gold category has been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) (PSL).

Australian power batter Ben Dunk, Irish captain Andy Balbirnie, Sri Lankan great Dinesh Chandimal, and Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine have all been promoted to the gold category for session eight of the PCB’s roster.

Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran, Temba Bavuma, the captain of South Africa, and Joe Denly, an English cricketer, have all enrolled in the gold category. Litton Das, Sheldon Cottrell, Zahir Khan, Sean Williams, Shamarh Brooks, Jordan Clark, Jake Ball, Dom Bess, and a number of other international cricketers are other well-known names.

The competition for the 2023 season will take place between February 9 and March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, with the draught taking place in Karachi on December 15.

Usman Wahla, the tournament’s director, told the media that the next franchise cricket season will feature a number of well-known players.

The final match, which will include all play-off matches, will be held in Lahore, it was disclosed last week. The eighth session’s opening ceremony will take place there.
