The performance of Mumbai Indians has not been commendable in this season so far, they have flung badly in almost all matches. Sometimes the batters were unable to score well, sometimes bowlers could not defend. The expectations of the performance of the team were very high comparatively as we are seen nowadays.

Starting from a disheartening start, the team could not stand up on its feet. With a strong batting line including Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, Yadav, Verma and Pollard the team can make a good comeback in this match.

Rohit Sharma being captain of the team could not play well as was expected from him. Same for Ishan Kishan except in one odd match in which he scored 54. Tilak Verma came out to be a hope for the team as he has scored handsome runs in an individual capacity. But all eyes will be on Yadav who is in one of his best forms so far. He has scored 52, 68, 43 and 37 in the last four matches. He can be blowback to CSK. With the presence of Bumrah and Ashwin in the team, the team can restrict any team to a low score.

The performance of CSK is not very different from MI. The only difference is that they have managed to have a single win against RCB in their 5^th match. Though the team of CSK was considered one of the strongest teams of this IPL. They crossed 200 twice in this tournament. Other than one match in which they scored 126, the batting line did not disappoint that much.

Robbin Uthappa has been marvelous in the tournament with three fifties so far which includes 73 in 48 and 88 in 50 balls in the last two matches. Coming at the opening and setting the pace at such a strike rate can help CSK in the next match as well. In the middle, the team has placed Shivam Dube who takes the team to the next echelon of a strike with his fast innings. With his 49, 57 and 95 he happened to be a force multiplier in the middle.

Other than these two batters like Gaikwad, Dhoni and Moin Ali has yet to show their skills in this tournament. Jadeja and Bravo have shown good bowling so far in the tournament, especially in the last two matches, both remained outclass. Some good bowling stuff is expected from them.
